While the coronavirus (COVID-19) has dominated the NFL headlines this offseason, the Los Angeles Rams have also taken some as they get set to open a brand-new, state-of-the-art stadium in Inglewood this season.

When Rams owner Stan Kroenke decided to move the team back to L.A. and started construction on SoFi Stadium, he envisioned it being a hub for sports and entertainment that people from all across the world can come and enjoy.

Now that SoFi Stadium is almost complete, it is shaping up to be exactly that as Super Bowls, Finals Fours, Wrestlemanias, College Football Playoffs and the 2028 Olympics are all scheduled to take place there in the coming years, among other big events.

Unfortunately, fans may have to wait a bit longer before seeing the Rams’ new home as the 2020 season will likely take place in empty stadiums due to the pandemic.

SoFi Stadium is still nearing its completion though, and they recently decided to show off its new lighting system and color-changing roof, via 1550 Sports:

Kroenke spared no expenses in building his new stadium, recently requiring another $500 million loan from the league to complete it.

It will all be worth it though when fans are allowed to attend games and they flood the stadium to cheer on the Rams every Sunday. With a new stadium in place and some bright young talent in the organization, the optimism in the Rams organization is currently at an all time high.
