The Los Angeles Rams decided to go all out for their preparation leading up to the 2021 NFL Draft with a lavish set-up in Malibu. Given the perks of being in Southern California and the importance of the 2021 NFL Draft, it seemed only right that the team would make the most out of this year’s festivities.

The war room has not gone unnoticed after making its rounds on social media. Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury even took a playful jab at Sean McVay’s underlying reasons for the Malibu location, which then prompted a funny response from the Rams’ social media team.

L.A.’s professional sports teams have long garnered their fair share of celebrity fans and the Rams are certainly no different since their return back in 2016. This gave them an ideal opportunity to allow one of their own to roll out the welcome mat.

The team called on actress Rebel Wilson to give fans an inside look at their new war room in Malibu, via the Rams’ official Twitter:

Upon entering the six-bedroom, 9,000 square-foot home, Wilson made sure to include all the necessary stops in her tour of the pad. This included playing Madden against punter Johnny Hekker, a stationary bike session with defensive tackle Aaron Donald and even abruptly interrupting a film session by McVay.

Although the draft is a pivotal time for the Rams to fill out the remainder of the voids left in their roster, it is clear that they are taking a lighthearted approach to the matter. Of course, this could also simply be the calm before the storm that is set to take place.

L.A. will have six selections this year and will be without a first-round selection once again. While they may be sitting out the first day of action, it is evident that the Rams have no problem flexing their star power.
