The Los Angeles Rams are steadily approaching their Week 7 matchup against the New York Giants. At the Twickenham Stadium in London, the Rams are featured as a part of the National Football League in London.

The organization agreed to participate with the NFL, forfeiting a home game this season. While some fans may be irritated the return to Los Angeles comes with only seven home games, Roger Godell’s thought process involves expanding the NFL and their international presence.

Tight end Lance Kendricks shed some light on the London scenario, after representing the NFL as a London ambassador in recent trips.

While the Rams have to deal with the time change associated with London, head coach Jeff Fisher isn’t worried about the time adjustment.

Upon the conclusion of practice, Rams wide receiver Brian Quick was able to have some fun learning a game the United Kingdom takes very seriously, via Dani Klupenger of theRams.com:

Professional cricket players Sam Billings and Liam Plunkett were able to assist Quick in the teaching tutorial, as Quick is seen using a Cricket bat with his helmet still on his head.

Billings plays for the Kent Country Cricket Club, while Plunkett is currently playing for Yorkshire. According to Kendricks and his ambassador role, his peers have emphasized an increased interest in American football in London and the United Kingdom.

Quick is able to drive the direct pitch far in that direction, claiming the trees stopped the ball from traveling further. However, Quick had trouble hitting the bounced balls thrown his way.

While the Rams will continue preparing for the Giants, the players do have an upcoming off day where they will be able to explore the city and learn of the cultural differences on another continent.
