For Matthew Stafford and Andrew Whitworth, winning Super Bowl LVI against the Cincinnati Bengals closed the book on a couple of the game’s biggest storylines.
Stafford’s trade to the Los Angeles Rams sparked much debate about whether or not he was the quarterback who could get them over the hump, but his clutch performance in the fourth quarter should have silenced all doubters. As for Whitworth, the victory came over his former team and now potentially gets to ride off into the sunset a champion though he has not confirmed whether or not he is retiring yet.
The Rams have gotten their fair share of the limelight in the weeks following their win, and Stafford and Whitworth continued their celebratory tour as they were granted the opportunity to give the command at NASCAR’s Cup Series, via FOX Sports:

It had to have been a fun moment for Stafford and Whitworth to witness the race at Auto Club Speedway in person, with Whitworth sounding like he took joy in telling the racers to start their engines. The duo’s appearance had to be a delight for those in attendance and extra motivation for the drivers looking to win big like they did.
While it was good to see Stafford and Whitworth enjoying themselves, the big question looming is going to be who is protecting the quarterback’s blindside for the 2022 season. The Rams have a potential replacement in Joe Noteboom, but he is set for free agency and could have a market considering good tackles are hard to come by.
However, future problems can wait for a moment as Los Angeles rightfully celebrates their Super Bowl.
