Rams Video: Los Angeles Releases ‘On The Clock’ Trailer Ahead Of 2022 NFL Draft

After a year of preparing and evaluating, the 2022 NFL Draft is right around the corner. While the first round is scheduled to begin on Thursday, the Los Angeles Rams will be sitting out the festivities as they do not have a pick until the end of Day 2 on Friday.

The Rams have famously traded away multiple first-round picks in exchange for high-end talent, and the gamble worked as they saw players like Matthew Stafford and Jalen Ramsey lead them to a win in Super Bowl LVI. Despite the lack of draft capital, Los Angeles has been able to find players in the later rounds to complement their allotment of stars, and they are well-equipped to do that again as they have eight total picks to make.

Without the responsibility of having to make a selection on the first day, the Rams apparently had enough time to produce an entertaining trailer about them stealing the draft that they released:

The real blockbuster of the offseason.

In true Hollywood fashion, the Rams looked like they spared no expense when it came to producing the trailer for the draft. High-profile actors like Josh Holloway, Tyrese Gibson and Dennis Quaid portray Les Snead, Raheem Morris and Stan Kroenke, respectively, while star players such as Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp make cameos.

Los Angeles has certainly leaned into its flashy identity and it is a shame that the production is not real as fans would surely love to see a full project. However, they will just have to settle for the team’s upcoming group of rookies later this week.
