Since moving to Los Angeles, the Rams have quickly turned themselves into one of the most entertaining and enjoyable teams to watch.
Moving to a city with other well-established sports teams always carried some sort of risk as they fight for people’s interest, which is exactly why general manager Les Snead has gone above and beyond to stack the roster with stars. Snead swung trades for Matthew Stafford, Von Miller, while also signing Odell Beckham Jr. to pair with players like Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey.
Despite a rough couple of weeks, the Rams still sit at 7-3 during the 2021 season and should still be considered a Super Bowl contender. Aside from their on-the-field success, the franchise is drawing more media attention as the highly-anticipated movie ‘American Underdog’ detailing Kurt Warner’s journey to the NFL is set to hit theatres in the coming month.
Warner himself promoted the movie on his Twitter account by sharing the official trailer:

Portrayed by Zachary Levi in the film, Warner’s story is one of the best success stories in league history as he went undrafted in the 1994 NFL Draft and saw his first shot at a roster dashed after being cut by the Green Bay Packers before the regular season. Warner would go to work at a grocery store before finding his way back to the football field, this time with the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League.
The quarterback’s success in the AFL eventually led to him being called to play for the St. Louis Rams and thus the ‘Greatest Show on Turf’ was born. The Rams, of course, would go on to win Super Bowl XXXIV and Warner was named Super Bowl MVP.
‘American Underdog’ is set to release on Christmas Day and is going to be a must-watch for any Rams fans.
