With OTAs finished and training camp just weeks away, the Los Angeles Rams have spent some time adjusting to the move out west. One of them being their stud running back Todd Gurley, who recently met up with legendary Rams running back Eric Dickerson.
As one of the most exciting players to ever grace the gridiron, the single season rushing champion reflected on his days as a player and even offered a piece of advice to a gleeful Gurley. Here is the exclusive video provided by Rams:

Not surprisingly, Dickerson wields quite an impressive trophy case, one he feels Gurley can one day replicate:

Dickerson and Gurley certainly draw plenty of comparisons when one looks at their impact on the Rams organization. Both are larger than the average running backs that also possessing explosive speed. Both burst onto the scene right out of college, winning the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year. However, Dickerson was able to follow up his rookie campaign with a historic 2,105 yard rushing performance the following in season. If history tends to repeat itself, Rams fans can be confident Gurley can have another outstanding year.
Whether or not Gurley even comes close to that coveted record, one thing is certain: Gurley, if healthy, is poised to be next in line of great Rams running backs behind Dickerson and Marshall Faulk.
