Coming into the 2023 season, Aaron Donald will need to carry even more of the defensive burden for the Los Angeles Rams after the team reset the roster due to salary cap issues.
Without as many veterans around Donald, the Rams are counting on young players at each position to step up though that will be a challenge. Sean McVay and Raheem Morris are two of the best at what they do, but even they’ll have to lean even more on Donald to carry the team’s defense.
Currently, the Rams are waiting for the beginning of training camp to begin so players have been off doing their thing. In the down time, Donald was recently seen coaching young players at the 2/10ths Top 150 Youth Camp, via Ben Tenuta of KDKA Radio:

2/10s Speed & Agility is Donald’s speed trainer who has helped him become of the most prolific pass rushers in league history. Donald repaid the favor by jumping in on one of the days and assisting with drills, a treat for the participants in attendnace.
For someone as accomplished as Donald, he still puts in the work everyday to be the best at what he does so it was no surprise to the kids soaking up every piece of advice he had. His combination of power, speed and technique is second to none but his work ethic is what truly separates him from his peers.
It’s fun to see Donald on the field helping out the next generation of players and looks like a natural when it comes to teaching. Perhaps coaching is in his future, but for now, his goal will be to lead Los Angeles back into the playoffs and hopefully another Super Bowl.
Patrick Mahomes lists Aaron Donald as one of the hardest players he’s played against
Throughout the years, Donald has earned the admiration of his fellow NFL players for how hard he competes. Opposing offenses have to always be aware of where Donald is on the field because he’s good enough to wreck a game single-handedly.
There’s not one quarterback in the league who enjoys playing against Donald, including Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes is able to dissect a defense like no one else can, but even he had to give Donald his props as he listed him among the hardest players he’s ever faced.
