The Los Angeles Rams have traded the No. 31 and 203 picks to the Atlanta Falcons for the No. 45 and 79 picks in the 2019 NFL Draft. With that 31st pick, the Falcons went on to pick offensive tackle Kaleb McGary out of Washington.
Rams general manager Les Snead recently spoke about the possibility of trading back, saying that if none of the defensive linemen they coveted at 31 were available then the hope was to move back into the second round, and that is exactly what ended up happening.
What the Rams received is a pick in the middle of Friday’s second round as well as a third rounded, while also sending a sixth rounder to the Falcons.
In addition to 45 and 79, the Rams also have the 94th (third round), 99th (third round), 133rd (fourth round), 169th (fifth round) and 251st (seventh round) picks.
That gives Snead and head coach Sean McVay a ton of picks in the next two days to address team needs which include offensive and defensive line, linebacker and secondary.
