The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals faced off in a thrilling match during Super Bowl LVI, with the former pulling out a narrow 24-20 victory.
The win marked the Rams’ first Super Bowl championship in Los Angeles, justifying all the blockbuster moves it took to get to that point. Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp led the team down the stretch, connecting on several tough plays that culminated in a game-winning touchdown from the receiver.
Cincinnati did well to prove their run to the Super Bowl was no fluke as they had Los Angeles on their heels for most of the second half. The Bengals look like a team on the rise and should be considered a contender once again after revamping their offensive line to protect budding superstar Joe Burrow.
Los Angeles and Cincinnati get a chance to relive their Super Bowl matchup as they face off in the preseason, but they will also be hosting a joint practice prior to that, via Kevin Modesti of the Southern California News Group:
The #Rams go to Cincinnati for the last preseason game, and will have a joint practice that week against the Bengals. A chance to re-ignite any Super Bowl grievances.

Los Angeles will likely opt to keep their starters out of any preseason action in order to preserve them for the 2022 season, so joint practices against teams like the Bengals will hold plenty of value.
Stafford and the rest of the team’s stars will need to utilize the practice time to get their game reps in, though with so many veterans on the roster they should hold up just fine until the real action starts.
The dates have not been released yet, but in the meantime, the Rams will continue with their offseason training program as they prepare to defend their crown.
