Los Angeles Rams pass rusher Myles Garrett took home a pair of ESPY Awards at the annual event on Wednesday night from the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Garrett won Best NFL Player honors after a historic 2025 season that saw him set the NFL single-season record with 23 sacks en route to being named Defensive Player of the Year.

Garrett’s competition for the award were Rams teammate Matthew Stafford, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Garrett also won the ESPY for Best Record-Breaking Performance as a result of his 23 sacks last season. He earned the honor over UCLA softball star Megan Grant, who broke the NCAA single-season softball home run record; cross-country skier Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, who became the first athlete to win six gold medals at the 2026 Winter Games; and long-distance runner Sabastian Sawe, who became the first person to finish a marathon in under two hours.

Garrett is entering his first season with the Rams after they acquired him from the Cleveland Browns in a blockbuster trade last month. L.A. gave up three future draft picks, along with two-time Pro Bowler Jared Verse, to complete the deal.

Garrett will have a chance to build off his historic year with a Rams team that is among the favorites to win the Super Bowl next year.

Rams unveiling 2 new alternate uniforms on July 23

Earlier this year, the Rams introduced updated uniforms and logos for the 2026 season.

The team is now set to unveil two new alternate uniforms on Thursday, July 23. L.A. is holding a special event for season ticket holders that night, who will have the first opportunity to see the new threads in person.

The Rams haven’t offered any hints on what the new uniforms might look like, but some believe one could be a throwback style.

The team currently has three uniforms, including their royal blue and yellow, white, and black “Rivalries” jerseys.
