The Los Angeles Rams announced that they have signed Dartmouth offensive tackle Matt Kaskey, Duke wide receiver Johnathan Lloyd, UAB offensive lineman Justice Powers, San Jose State defensive tackle Owen Roberts and Kennesaw State wide receiver Justin Sumpter as undrafted free agents.

This comes a day after they signed 14 other undrafted free agents, so that brings the total to 19 in the first few days after the conclusion of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Kaskey and Powers add two more offensive linemen to a rookie class that already contains a handful of others as the Rams look to replace Rodger Saffold and John Sullivan. While there are open roster spots, undrafted free agents like Kaskey and Powers will have to do a lot to impress during training camp if they want to earn those spots.

Wide receiver isn’t really an area of need for the Rams, but bringing in Lloyd and Sumpter add to the depth at an important position.

Lloyd had 124 receptions for 1,272 yards and nine touchdowns in four seasons at Duke, including 51 receptions for 604 yards and five touchdowns in his senior season. Sumpter had similar stats in his senior season at Kennesaw State, catching 33 passes for 610 yards and five touchdowns.

Roberts will also have a chance to battle for a roster spot in a position of need after the expected departure of Ndamukong Suh. In four seasons at San Jose State, Roberts had 146 total tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks.
