The Los Angeles Rams announced the signings of tackle A.J. Arcuri, guard Logan Bruss, defensive tackle Cory Durden, linebacker Olakunle Fatukasi, defensive back Tanner Ingle, center Mike McAllister, defensive back Cameron McCutcheon, tackle Zachary Thomas, linebacker Zach VanValkenburg and quarterback Dresser Winn to reserve/future contracts.

A reserve/future contract allows teams to sign players who were not on the active roster at the end of the previous season to a contract for the following year. These players will participate in the offseason program and then report to training camp for an opportunity to earn a roster spot.

The Rams originally selected Arcuri in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and he appeared in eight games that season while making one start at left tackle. Bruss was taken by the Rams in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, but he has yet to play in an NFL game after tearing his ACL and then getting cut.

Durden joined the Rams practice squad this past September after being released by the Detroit Lions, and he appeared in four games during the 2023 season. Fatukasi was first signed to the Rams practice squad in October and he ended up playing in one game, seeing 12 snaps on special teams.

Ingle and McAllister were undrafted rookies who joined the Rams practice squad during the 2023 season. McCutcheon is back with the Rams for the first time since 2022, when he appeared in 10 games (one start) and recorded two tackles.

Thomas and VanValkenburg both saw time with the Rams this season, with the latter notching one sack in 10 games. Winn spent part of the year on the team’s practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for two games.

NFL rosters expand from 53 players to 90 in the offseason, which allows teams to take fliers on prospects and give them a chance to make a name for themselves.
