The Los Angeles Rams selected Wisconsin offensive lineman Logan Bruss with the No. 104 pick in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, which was their first of eight total selections and only one on Day 2.

It’s no secret that the Rams could use some help on the offensive line, particularly on the interior after losing Austin Corbett in free agency.

Bruss should be able to come in and compete for a starting spot at guard right away, perhaps joining fellow Wisconsin Badgers David Edwards and Rob Havenstein in the starting lineup.

According to Pro Football Focus, Bruss did not allow a single sack in 2021 and has only allowed one since 2019. He started 10 of his games at right tackle last season but projects as a guard in the NFL.

The Rams introduced their newest pick on social media, including a short highlight tape and a tweet from himself expressing excitement to get to work:

In addition to Bruss, the Rams will also have Bobby Evans, Tremayne Anchrum and Coleman Shelton competing for that starting guard spot.

Going into Day 3 of the draft, the Rams still have a lot of work to do as seven of their eight picks will come on Sunday. The Rams still hold picks 142 (fourth round), 175 (fifth round), 211 (sixth round), 212 (sixth round), 218 (sixth round), 238 (seventh round) and 253 (seventh round).
