The Los Angeles Rams have developed somewhat of a pipeline to the Denver Broncos this offseason. With the addition of Wade Phillips and Kayvon Webster, they have also had occasional visits from Peyton Manning.
Now, it seems that trend could continue with yet another key member of the Broncos franchise. According to Benjamin Albright, Kroenke could potentially look to bring in executive vice president of football operations and general manager, John Elway:

Although it has been reported that Elway and the Broncos have made progress on a contract extension, his interest in ownership could potentially be a factor in his future with the team. However, it remains to be seen whether or not Kroenke would be open to bringing in Elway under such circumstances.
Often referred to as ‘Silent Stan,’ Kroenke is as enigmatic an owner as they come. He has received heavy praise from native Rams fans for finally returning the team back to Los Angeles. However, the focus has now shifted to building a team that can compete for the playoffs and bringing in someone like Elway would certainly be a step in the right direction.
After a stellar Hall of Fame career with the Broncos, Elway returned as a member of the front office in 2011. Since then, he has helped bring another Super Bowl to the Mile High City while building one of the league’s premier defenses. Elway’s success both as a player and front office executive would do wonders for a franchise that has not been to the playoffs in over a decade.
