For the second consecutive year, the Super Bowl champions were crowned in their own stadium after the Los Angeles Rams won Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium.

With the Rams at home, Los Angeles went all out as far as Super Bowl festivities went and SoFi Stadium proved to be the perfect venue for everything. Rams owner Stan Kroenke spared no expense when building the state-of-the-art stadium, and it showed on the big stage.

As far as practicing goes, the Rams utilize Cal Lutheran during the season and hold their training camp at UC Irvine. However, it appears they could be closing in on a property in Woodland Hills to serve as their new training facility and headquarters, via Bill Shaikin, Roger Vincent and Sam Farmer of L.A. Times:

The Rams are in negotiations to buy the site of the former Woodland Hills Promenade shopping mall and build a team practice facility there, according to people familiar with the talks who are not authorized to discuss them publicly and asked for anonymity.

Should it happen, it could follow the same blueprint as SoFi Stadium where they build other attractions on it:

If the deal is completed, the Rams could pay more than $150 million for the 34-acre site, which would be large enough to hold a summer training camp with fans in attendance. The Rams have practiced at Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks but have staged training camp at UC Irvine.

The Woodland Hills site is large enough that Rams owner Stan Kroenke could build a practice facility and team headquarters there, then surround it with a mixed-use development. That would echo his strategy at SoFi Stadium: buy the property, build the stadium, then develop the land around it.

Having their own training facility and headquarters would be a welcomed development for the organization and it will be interesting to see how talks progress in the coming months.
