The Los Angeles Rams’ roster has undergone some significant changes this offseason, with a number of key free agents signing elsewhere due to the team’s lack of cap space.

Among them are defensive backs John Johnson III and Troy Hill, both of which are headed to the Cleveland Browns, tight end Gerald Everett, who signed with the Seattle Seahawks and defensive end Morgan Fox, who reached a deal with the Carolina Panthers.

The Rams also lost both Jared Goff and Michael Brockers to the Detroit Lions in separate trades, although the former was dealt for Matthew Stafford, so L.A. upgraded at the quarterback position.

It appears the Rams have lost another key member of their roster as Mike Garafolo of NFL Network is reporting that Josh Reynolds signed a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans:

The Rams originally drafted Reynolds in the fourth round out of Texas A&M in 2017 and he was a solid third receiver for them during his four-year tenure. He is coming off a career year in 2020, hauling in 52 receptions for 618 yards and two touchdowns.

With the Rams giving out big contract extensions to their top two receivers in Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp last offseason, it became increasingly clear that they would not be bringing Reynolds back.

L.A. also drafted Van Jefferson in the second round in 2020, so he can help fill the role that Reynolds had in Sean McVay’s offense.

Even though the Rams don’t have cap space, they still were able to make one addition at the wide receiver position, bringing in veteran DeSean Jackson on a one-year deal.

The Rams have made it clear that they were looking to add a deep threat to their offense, and Jackson fills that role perfectly as one of the best vertical receivers of all time.
