Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has been under a lot of scrutiny recently, as the Rams have lost three straight games and currently are 3-4 going into their bye week.
The losing streak came right after a three-game winning streak, as after a Week 4 road win over the Arizona Cardinals the Rams sat at 3-1 and in first place in the NFC West.
More than the Rams just losing, Fisher has maintained that No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 draft, Jared Goff is still not ready to be the starting quarterback of the team.
Instead he is sticking with Case Keenum, who has thrown 10 interceptions on the season compared to only eight touchdowns and four of those interceptions came in the Week 7 loss to the New York Giants.
That is the reason why Goff’s name has come back into the conversation as the Rams have a bye in Week 8 before hosting the Carolina Panthers in Week 9.
While there were talks of a possible contract extension for Fisher before the season started, it never materialized and now NBC LA’s Fred Roggan believes Fisher could be on the hot seat, via Jason Stewart of AM570:
"From what I am hearing, Jeff Fisher's fate will be sealed after the next four games." – @FredNBCLA on The @EricDickerson show just now

On his personal Twitter account Roggan reiterated the importance of the next four games for Fisher’s future with the organization:
#Rams fans want Jeff Fisher fired. NOT gonna happen now. Lets just say the next month is critical.

Fisher is in his fifth season with the team and has failed to make the postseason in each season, going 29-38. In 22 seasons as an NFL head coach Fisher has reached the postseason just six times and made the Super Bowl just once in 1999 as the coach of the Tennessee Titans when he ironically lost to the Rams.
The next four games for the Rams are at home against the Panthers, at the New York Jets, at home against the Miami Dolphins and at the New Orleans Saints. The four teams are a combined 8-18.
