The Los Angeles Rams head into the offseason with a number of needs to address, and one of them is the wide receiver position.
With Cooper Kupp expected to be traded and Demarcus Robinson hitting free agency, the Rams will need to replace two of their top three receivers.
Their No. 4 wide receiver and deep threat Tutu Atwell was also expected to hit free agency, although it appears that will no longer be the case. The Rams have begun addressing their needs at wide receiver by re-signing Atwell to a one-year, fully guaranteed $10 million contract, per Adam Schefter of ESPN:

Atwell has largely underwhelming since the Rams drafted him in the second round in 2021 out of Louisville. The speedster has given the Rams a quality deep threat at times, although he has been underused in Sean McVay’s offense during his four seasons with the team.
The 25-year-old is coming off a career year in which he hauled in 42 receptions for 562 yards, and the Rams must feel they have a way to better utilize him in their offense in 2025 to justify giving him this contract.
Regardless, the Rams have now addressed one of their needs heading into free agency and the draft. They can probably still use another receiver or two, but a speedy, down-the-field threat is probably no longer a priority.
Rams expect Tyler Higbee & Rob Havenstein back in 2025
In addition to re-signing Tutu Atwell, the Rams are also expecting tight end Tyler Higbee and right tackle Rob Havenstein back with the team in 2025. Both veterans are in the final years of their contracts but have been huge parts of the team’s success in recent years and are still playing at a high level.
“Yeah, that’s the full expectation,” Sean McVay said in a press conference on Monday. “Those guys are instrumental to our success. I thought both of them played at a really high level. Obviously, some of the injuries they both worked through… but when those guys were on the football field for us, we were a different offense.
“You could tangibly feel the difference that Higbee made when he came back from the Jets game on. When Rob was in there, the leadership, the production, the overall toughness and competitiveness was outstanding. Both of those guys we fully expect back.”
