Rams News: Von Miller To Sign With Bills

The Los Angeles Rams have constantly made splash moves when the rest of the league least expects it, and nothing encapsulates that better than when they traded for Von Miller at the deadline this past season.

The Rams gave up 2022 second and third-round picks to acquire the star and he proved to be worth the draft capital as he solidified what was already a fierce pass rush. Aaron Donald and Leonard Floyd only benefitted from Miller’s presence and the trio wreaked havoc throughout the 2021 playoffs.

Although Miller had expressed interest in returning to Los Angeles, it was anyone’s guess where he would end up as he also teased a return to the Denver Broncos. However, where he is ultimately going is a team that came out of nowhere as he announced on his Instagram that he is signing with the Buffalo Bills.

Miller expressed a desire to stay in L.A., so to pry him away had to take a gigantic offer, and that’s exactly what the Bills gave him, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network:

Now that Miller is gone, it will be interesting to see where the Rams pivot to address their pass rush concerns. They will get a fourth-round comp pick because he departed, however.

During his short time with the Rams, Miller not only produced on the field, but he was also credited for helping lead the locker room and get the most out of Donald. Those kinds of intangibles should not be overlooked and it was a great move from the Rams to get him during a Super Bowl run.
