Los Angeles Rams star running back Todd Gurley has been nothing short of spectacular throughout the entire 2017 NFL season. With the thought of this year’s MVP award becoming a possible reality, Gurley ended the year with a bang.
Despite having not played in Week 17, the Rams’ workhorse put up numbers that are only seen in Madden. As a result, he was named NFC Offensive Player of the Month for the second time this season:

Despite having not played the season finale versus the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17, Gurley put up numbers any running back would be envious of. He managed to rush for 440 yards and five touchdowns on a remarkable 5.9 yards per carry in the month of December.
To no surprise, he was just as deadly through the air as he was on the ground. Gurley recorded 309 yards receiving and three touchdowns during that same span. Needless to say, he has done everything and more in terms of bouncing back from a disastrous sophomore campaign. However, it still remains to be seen whether or not he has done enough to take home the MVP award.
Fortunately, Gurley has bigger concerns at the moment with the Rams getting ready to square off against the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Wild Card. That said, expect Los Angeles to feature a heavy dosage of their star running back.
