The Los Angeles Rams offseason program began Monday morning with voluntary workouts. While many players were working out, a few players and head coach Sean McVay gave interviews to press.
McVay is getting ready to enter his third season coaching the Rams and hoping to add to what they have already accomplished.
During his time with press McVay stated that he was in contact with Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn about the possibility of holding joint practices during training camp this year, via Greg Beacham of the Associated Press:

The Chargers also began their offseason program today at the Hoag Performance Center in Costa Mesa, Calif. The Rams held their program at their practice facility in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
The Chargers joined the Rams in Los Angeles before the 2017 NFL season. Since then, the two have only faced off once with the Rams winning easily, but have remained mostly affable while sharing Los Angeles.
An opportunity for joint practices should offer the Rams not only a first glance at what the Chargers have in store for 2019 but a chance to gauge their own strengths and weaknesses.
Both teams are planning to share a new state of the art stadium for the 2020 season. For now, the Rams and Chargers will remain at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and the Dignity Health Sports Park respectively.
After reaching the postseason in 2018, both the Rams and Chargers have aspirations of winning the Super Bowl in 2019, which makes for good practice partners.
