Rams News: Sean McVay Calls Week 14 Game Against Eagles ‘Exciting’

The 2017 NFL season has been full of surprises given how many teams are currently in playoff contention. The Los Angeles Rams, however, may be the most shocking team in the league given their sudden offensive prowess after just one year of finishing as the worst scoring team in the league.

The Rams currently hold a 9-3 record and are first in the NFC West. However, they have their toughest test coming up when they take on arguably the best team in the NFL in the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to Alden Gonzalez of ESPN, Sean McVay stressed the importance of the upcoming matchup:

These are the games that you better be ready to go for because they are a great football team,” McVay, the Los Angeles Rams’ first-year head coach, said of the Eagles. “It’s an exciting matchup.”

There are plenty of narratives surrounding this game as the top two quarterbacks from the 2016 NFL Draft in Jared Goff and Carson Wentz will be facing off against each other. The two young stars have made their teams surprise contenders in the NFC and should once again produce in a featured game.

For Los Angeles, a win against Philadelphia would only further cement their status as one of the league’s elite teams. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in what is sure to be a back-and-forth game.
