The Tennessee Titans announced on Thursday morning they have signed former Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Rodger Saffold to a four-year deal.
Since being drafted by the Rams when they were still in St. Louis in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Saffold had been a staple and a leader in the Rams locker room for almost a decade.
Saffold spent nine seasons in the Rams organization, playing three different positions and going through plenty of losing seasons before finally reaching the Super Bowl this past year for the first time.
Unfortunately, whenever the Rams return to and finally win the Super Bowl, Saffold will no longer be a member of the organization. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Saffold will earned up to $44 million with his new deal:

In addition to Saffold, the Rams will also be losing starting center John Sullivan after his option was recently declined. So that means that two of the five starters from a year ago will need to be replaced in 2019.
With not much money to spend in free agency after re-signing Dante Fowler Jr. and signing Eric Weddle, the Rams will likely look at in-house options to fill their offensive line voids.
