The Los Angeles Rams suffered a key loss versus the Philadelphia Eagles with starting cornerback Kayvon Webster out for the year. Fortunately, the Rams will be welcoming back some familiar faces for their pivotal showdown with the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15.
Los Angeles has been without two of their key starters for the past two weeks now. However, according to ESPN’s Alden Gonzalez, head coach Sean McVay says the Rams are expected to have wide receiver Robert Woods and outside linebacker Connor Barwin:
Barwin and Woods are “on track, unless there are any setbacks, to be able to play and be available for the Seattle game,” according to McVay.
Woods is coming off a sprained left shoulder he suffered versus the Minnesota Vikings in mid-November. Up to that point, he had been enjoying the best stretch of his career as the Rams’ primary option.
Meanwhile, Barwin had undergone surgery to fix a broken bone in his left forearm the week after Woods was ruled out. Despite the injury, the veteran linebacker has been well on track of his initial timetable.
That said, Los Angeles will be more than happy to welcome back such integral players on both sides of the ball. These next few weeks will be crucial for the Rams as they try to secure their first playoff berth since 2003.
