Under head coach Jeff Fisher, the Los Angeles Rams have assembled a formidable defense, with a front seven that is ready to get after the quarterback. With defensive coordinator Gregg Williams’ guidance, players such as Aaron Donald and Eugene Sims are racing to get after the quarterback.
Fisher has had to deal with a plethora of injuries to his roster, especially on the defensive side. The offense has been steadily increasing their results, although it necessarily hasn’t been leading to victories.
As the Rams barely stay afloat in the NFC West, the resurgence of some key defensive players can help aide the team moving forward. One defensive end that returned to action on Sunday against the New York Giants was Robert Quinn.
The defensive end is a six-year player who missed their two previous games with a shoulder injury. After being sidelined, Quinn slowly was implemented into the defensive rotation on Sunday, via Myles Simmons of TheRams.com:

Fellow defensive end Sims received the start, collecting just one assisted tackle for the game.
Quinn is a two-time Pro Bowl selection, coming back to his days with the St. Louis Rams. With the Rams scheduled for a Week 8 bye, Quinn now receives another two weeks of rest before gearing up for their Week 9 contest.
Quinn will slowly be settled back into the scheme of things, in order to get into game shape. Alongside Sims and Donald, the front seven of the Rams should have a revamped effort on the defensive end moving forward.
The 26-year-old was the 14th overall selection of the Rams in the 2011 draft.
