The Los Angeles Rams announced Monday morning that Pro Bowl defensive end Robert Quinn admitted himself to a local hospital with a non-football related injury. He is in stable condition though.

What the injury is or how bad it is remains unclear although Rams head coach Jeff Fisher will provide an update at his news conference on Monday evening.

Quinn started in his sixth game this season Sunday against the New York Jets, as he had two passes defended.

The 26-year-old has two sacks and two forced fumbles, along with two passes defensed in seven games this season.

Quinn dealt with a brain tumor in high school that caused him to have headaches until he had the fluid in his head drained and he since has not had any reported issues.

He did not come out of Sunday’s game with any injuries and nothing was reported after the game in regards to Quinn being injured, so it truly is a non-football related injury.
