The Los Angeles Rams earned a 27-20 comeback win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4 behind the stellar play of their wide receivers.

After only getting three targets through the first three games of the season, Tutu Atwell used his explosive speed to score the game-winning 88-yard touchdown with just over a minute left to play in the fourth quarter.

Davante Adams and Puka Nacua also caught touchdowns, with the latter totaling 13 receptions for 170 receiving yards.

Nacua has gotten off to a historic start this season and attributed his success to being on the same page with quarterback Matthew Stafford, via Wyatt Miller of TheRams.com:

“It feels super fun when you go out there and you’re moving the ball forward and you’re feeling like everything’s on the right page,” Nacua said. “And I just think it feels good to be on the same page as Matthew.”

Nacua is only in his third season with the Rams, but he has already established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and a lot of that has to do with his tremendous rapport with Stafford.

Nacua is on pace for his best season yet as he has already caught an NFL-best 42 receptions and 503 yards in four games. Nacua is averaging 125.8 receiving yards per game, which also leads the league.

Whether it’s finding the end zone or making tough catches to extend drives, Nacua has been an important part of the Rams’ offense in recent years and he will be key to the team’s success going forward.

Matthew Stafford proud of Tutu Atwell after scoring game-winning touchdown in Rams’ win over Colts

Tutu Atwell’s game-winning touchdown came after his defender fell down, which allowed him to beat the safety to the end zone.

Atwell took advantage of his defender falling down and then used his explosive speed to beat the safety to the end zone.

It was a satisfying moment for Atwell, who didn’t make much of an impact in the Rams’ first three games of the season despite the expectation that he would be a key part of the offense.

Matthew Stafford, who threw three touchdowns in the Rams’ win over the Colts, said after the game that he was proud of Atwell.

Although Atwell only had two targets against the Colts and finished with the one catch, he certainly made the most of his opportunities and helped the Rams improve to 3-1 on the season.
