While many of the top free agents have come off the board, there are still some notable difference makers available to sign. Among them is former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who has drawn considerable interest around the league.

Beckham missed the entire 2022 season while recovering from the torn ACL he sustained during the Rams’ 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.

Beckham played in eight regular season games with the Rams during the 2021 season after being granted his release from the Cleveland Browns. He caught 27 passes for 305 yards and scored five touchdowns before adding 21 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns in the postseason.

While the Rams stayed in communication with Beckham about a possible reunion, the three-time Pro Bowler announced on his Instagram that he has decided to join the Baltimore Ravens for the 2023 season.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Beckham is signing a one-year contract with the Ravens that could be worth up to $18 million:

From a football perspective, Beckham joining the Ravens makes a ton of sense as the team is in desperate need of wide receiver for Lamar Jackson.

Jackson formally requested a trade from the franchise after the sides were unable to agree to a long-term contract extension. However, the Ravens placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson, which allows him to negotiate with other teams but gives Baltimore a chance to match any offer.

Had Beckham returned to the Rams, it would’ve bolstered a wide receiver room that includes Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson and Van Jefferson. However, L.A. has given Robinson permission to seek a trade and will likely move on from him at some point this offseason.
