The Los Angeles Rams are going to look a lot different when they take the field in 2020, not only because they will have new uniforms, but also because they have lost a ton of key players this offseason.
A bunch of those departures are on the defensive side of the ball as Cory Littleton, Eric Weddle, Dante Fowler Jr., Clay Matthews, Michael Brockers, Marqui Christian and Nickell Robey-Coleman all will not be back in 2020.
Robey-Coleman had an option of his contract for this upcoming season, but the Rams declined it so he became a free agent. The 28-year-old played the last three seasons with the Rams, calling the departure ‘bittersweet’ as he gets set to begin a new journey.
It’s now known where that journey will take place as Josina Anderson of ESPN confirmed from Robey-Coleman that he is signing a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles:

The Eagles have completely remade their secondary this offseason with the additions of Robey-Coleman and Darius Slay and the departure of team leader Malcolm Jenkins.
Robey-Coleman played in all but one game in his three seasons with the Rams, mostly handling slot duties. He is most known for his pass interference against the Saints in the 2019 NFC Championship Game that wasn’t called, allowing the Rams to come from behind and earn the victory to send them to the Super Bowl. It also forced the NFL to make pass interference challengable the next season.
He is coming off a season in which he had 36 total tackles, two forced fumbles and seven passes defensed, and while likely continue playing in the slot in Philadelphia.
