Ndamukong Suh has not been with the Los Angeles Rams very long, but it appears he is already quite fond of Jared Goff.
Goff has gotten off to an MVP-caliber start thus far in the 2018 NFL season. Suh showed his appreciation on Instagram by calling him the best quarterback he has played with:

It is a bit surprising to see such praise come from Suh. He is well-known for his serious dislike of NFL quarterbacks and has seemingly spent more time trying to intimidate them than prop them up. However, it appears he is willing to make an exception for Goff.
Suh spent the last eight seasons of his career playing for the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins. It took only four games with the Rams for him to put Goff ahead of quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Ryan Tannehill. There is certainly some truth to his statement depending on the criteria.
There is no question that Tannehill is the odd-man out in this comparison. It is also safe to say that Goff has been the better quarterback than Stafford since the start of the 2017 season. Despite entering the league seven years later, he has already matched the veteran’s lone Pro Bowl selection. However, one cannot ignore the mind-boggling numbers Stafford has put up throughout his career. He is among the rare crop of quarterbacks that have made throwing for 4,000-plus yards a season a habit.
Having said that, it should be noted that Suh was present during Stafford’s prime. Yet, he still has no issue with dubbing Goff as the best quarterback he has played with in his career. Numbers aside, there are throws the Rams’ star has made throws this season that very few quarterbacks would even attempt in this league. If Goff can continue his success the rest of the year, he may very well solidify Suh’s declaration if he has not already.
