The Los Angeles Rams made waves when they set new records for deals after agreeing to new long-term contracts with Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp.
Donald and Kupp join Matthew Stafford, who was previously rewarded with a lucrative extension after leading the Rams to a victory in Super Bowl LVI. The blockbuster deal for Stafford was well worth it, and Los Angeles can take comfort in knowing its star-studded core is in place for the foreseeable future.
As part of his offseason maintenance, Stafford received an injection in his right arm and has yet to throw during OTAs and mandatory minicamp. However, he said he plans to ramp up in the coming weeks which means he should be ready for training camp, via Greg Beacham of the Associated Press:

There was no real concern about Stafford’s throwing arm as it felt like he and the team were just being cautious after his procedure. Los Angeles’ medical staff has been one of the best in the league, and this is another example of the organization putting the health of their players at the forefront.
Even though Stafford has yet to throw, he has still been present around his teammates, especially his receivers. Stafford and Kupp continue to work on building rapport, and new addition Allen Robinson has been getting to know his new quarterback as well. Stafford should come into training camp fully healthy, and at this point of the year, that is all Los Angeles can hope for ahead of the 2022 season.
