The Los Angeles Rams continue to make big moves as they have now reportedly made a deal to acquire the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. With the move, the Rams jump from No. 15 to the top spot, which makes it the biggest in draft history.
In order to acquire the first overall pick, the Rams gave up six draft picks according to the Titans official Twitter:

Tennessee now owns nine picks in this and next year’s draft, but for Rams general manager Les Snead and company, it is all about the one pick. Snead spoke about the deal with Vincent Bonsignore of Los Angeles Daily News:

After stocking up on picks during the Robert Griffin III sweepstakes a few years ago, the Rams now find themselves in search of their franchise quarterback and in a position to win now, especially with the relocation to Los Angeles.
With the Rams acquiring the first overall pick, the pick seemingly comes down to two names: California’s Jared Goff and North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz. The team has already held workouts with both players, so the Rams intention to draft a quarterback is certainly not a secret at this point. Though it seems unwise to make such a trade without knowing 100 percent who it is they will pick, only time will tell which path the franchise chooses to move in.
