The Los Angeles Rams have become one of the teams that have garnered the anticipation of potentially having a roster that could contend for a Super Bowl this upcoming season. This could quickly become a showdown between two teams that are competing for playoff position in their respective conferences. This could become a game driven by the storyline of All-Pro cornerback Marcus Peters getting his chance to compete against his former team for the first time since being traded to Los Angeles.
There could be the personal motivation to stick to his old team meanwhile the Rams could have that extra spark to help their teammate get a win against the Chiefs. Beyond that, it may be a highly important game in the schedule for both sides with it taking place near the halfway point of the regular season.
There is much hype around the Rams being able to make that next step this upcoming season after reaching the playoffs and winning the NFC West both for the first time in well over a decade. Los Angeles has responded to that by making several big splash moves in the offseason that have brought aboard high-profile players that could be major factors both sides of the ball.
It has given more meaning to the “win-now” approach with the added superstar talent on short-term deals with the end goal being winning a Super Bowl. All in all, there is plenty of excitement ahead to what could transpire in the 2018 season for the Rams.
