After much anticipation, the Los Angeles Rams finally returned home to make their debut at the Coliseum for the first time since 1979. The Rams were able to do so in less-than-spectacular fashion with a 9-3 victory over a juggernaut Seattle Seahawks team.
While it was a star-studded affair both on the field and in the stands, it was a boisterous crowd that impressed veteran Will Hayes according to Joe Curley of Ventura County Star:

It was undoubtedly a huge win for both the team and the city of Los Angeles. However, beating the Seahawks is something Rams fans have grown accustomed to in recent years having now won four of their last five meetings. Despite largely being what most would consider an uneventful game from an offensive standpoint, the defense and special teams shined bright against a Seattle team that is predicted by many to go the Super Bowl this year.
The team’s offensive struggles are certainly no secret after they were shut out 28-0 by a lackluster San Francisco 49ers team in Week 1. Although they are still without a touchdown, quarterback Case Keenum definitely made some strides since then, finishing 18-of-30 for 239 yards. More importantly, he was able to get Los Angeles in field goal position where kicker Greg Zurlein hit all three of his attempts.
Los Angeles hopes to secure their first touchdown in Week 3 when they hit the road to face a shaky Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary.
