It was a fun and exciting 2017 NFL season for the Los Angeles Rams as they finished with an 11-5 record, good for first in the NFC West. Despite losing to the Atlanta Falcons in the Wild Card round of the 2017 NFL Playoffs, the Rams have proven they are capable of becoming one of the best teams in the NFL for the near future.
However, Los Angeles will have several personnel questions to answer during the offseason. The biggest one will be coming to terms with on an extension with defensive tackle Aaron Donald.
According to Alden Gonzalez of ESPN, general manager Les Snead admitted locking up Donald to an extension is a focus:

Donald held himself out of team activities during the last offseason in hopes of securing a long-term deal. However, he eventually returned to the Rams and played in 14 games during the 2017 NFL campaign.
The star tackle is one of the league’s best players and undoubtedly deserves a lucrative deal given his skill and talent. With players like Sammy Watkins also a question mark to return, it will be interesting to see how Snead and the rest of Los Angeles’ front office decide to handle the roster’s cap situation.
