As arguably the league’s most high-powered offense, the Los Angeles Rams have enjoyed their fair share of accomplishments in the 2017 NFL season. Such was the case in Week 16 during their crucial victory over the Tennessee Titans.
The offense was once again led by the efforts of quarterback Jared Goff and star running back Todd Gurley. As a result, both players were honored as the FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week:
It's a #LARams sweep!

Needless to say, such awards have become a common occurrence for the Rams this year. Perhaps even more impressive, the two managed to make the most of the 27 points scored as the primary beneficiaries.
This is the second week in a row in which Gurley has accomplished this feat. He put a stamp on his MVP candidacy by rushing for 118 yards while hauling in 10 receptions for 158 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Goff had one of his best performances of the year by throwing for 301 yards and four touchdowns. The former No. 1 overall pick has made tremendous strides since his rookie debacle and continues to prove himself as the team’s franchise quarterback moving forward. That said, Goff and Gurley will be hoping for another strong outing from their backups in the season finale versus the San Francisco 49ers.
