With the Los Angeles Rams currently on a three-game losing streak following their 3-1 start to the 2016 NFL season, many are wondering if head coach Jeff Fisher will soon make a quarterback change to insert this year’s first overall pick, Jared Goff.
A week after it was reported that Goff would begin seeing increased practice refs, the Rams continue showing signs that he will soon displace Case Keenum in the starting lineup. According to Gary Klein of Los Angeles Times, the University of California standout took first-team practice reps in the final practice of their bye week:

While Keenum still remains the starter as of now, Goff feels ‘ready to go’ if his number is called:

Goff continues to show tremendous support of Keenum besides coming off his worst performance of the season (four interceptions), but has told the media that he is going to continue to ‘get ready and be ready’ for when Fisher is ready to make a move.
The 22-year-old rookie knows he is in a ‘quarterback in waiting’ situation in Los Angeles, but with the team’s offensive woes continuing to pile on, the waiting game may soon be over as the team will likely turn to him if Keenum is unable to resolve the issues quickly.
The Rams moved up to the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft in a blockbuster trade with the Tennessee Titans in exchange for their No. 15, 43, 45, and 76 picks in 2016. The Titans also will get the Rams first and third round picks in 2017.
