Rams News: Jared Goff Has High Praise For Aaron Donald

The Los Angeles Rams are flying high after taking one step closer clinching the NFC West thanks to their Week 15 thrashing of the Seattle Seahawks. Los Angeles was clicking on all cylinders in the dominant 42-7 win.

However, it was easy to see why superstar defensive tackle Aaron Donald is one of the best in the business. Even second-year quarterback Jared Goff had to acknowledge his greatness during the Rams press conference:

“He’s truly unblockable, I haven’t seen a team block him yet. Teams will double-team him and he’ll split the double teams.”

Goff also went on to explain how he not only creates plays for himself but other teammates as well. Needless to say, Donald has once again made a solid case for why he should be thrown in the Defensive Player of the Year conversation.

Donald was an absolute monster against Seattle. Despite major concerns about the scrambling ability of star quarterback Russell Wilson, the Rams not only managed to contain him but also seemed to get in his head throughout the game. That said, Donald was the main reason for that with 3.0 sacks on the day.

It is performances like these that make Goff thankful that Donald is on his team. Furthermore, it is another reason why the Rams have a no-brainer decision to make this offseason regarding Donald’s long-term future with the team.
