Rams Video: Jared Goff Goes Undercover As JUCO Transfer

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff is a man of many talents. He solidified that notion by putting his ability to go undercover to the test.

Needless to say, players at nearby Ventura College learned that the hard way. Goff recently partnered with Red Bull to disguise himself as a transfer student looking to take the starting quarterback job by force:

Red Bull had done a similar skit with Chicago Cubs third basemen Kris Bryant. Needless to say, it did not take long for the other players to notice the tremendous difference in skill level. The same can be said for Goff’s performance this time around.

The former No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft disguised himself as Dreaj Foge, the brash, young gunslinger with no regard for his competition. He even donned a not-so-convincing wig and tattoos and then proceeded to crush the dreams of the other quarterbacks on the roster looking further their football careers.

He played the part to a tee with several interactions with members of the team. “Foge” even asked whether or not a fellow competing quarterback was the punter. All the while dazzling the entire team with his pinpoint accuracy ability to outthrow he wide receivers with little effort.

Perhaps the best part of the entire skit was that his persona was actually the polar opposite of how Goff is as a player. Along with becoming one of the most promising, young quarterbacks in the NFL, he is also the epitome of the team’s “We not Me” mantra. As evidenced by the video, the team was taken back when he revealed himself as the Rams’ star quarterback.

There are many paths players can take to the NFL Although the ultimate goal for any of these individuals is to get an offer at the next level, they must first learn to buy into the team aspect of the game.
