Rams News: Jalen Ramsey Is Glad Tom Brady’s Final Touchdown Won’t Come On Him

The path to the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl LVI championship was a tough one, with the team forced to go up against the defending champions the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers were led by Tom Brady who was looking for another playoff win over the Rams, but the latter was able to outlast the quarterback in a thrilling duel. Los Angeles ultimately won 30-27, and it looked like that loss would be the last game of Brady’s football career after he finally retired.

However, Brady shocked the football world when he announced that he was coming back to play for Tampa Bay to which Jalen Ramsey had a hilarious reaction, via his Twitter account:

Brady only threw one touchdown in their playoff matchup, a bomb to Mike Evans, who cleanly beat Ramsey on his route for the score. It was not one of Ramsey’s finer moments in coverage and had to briefly live with the fact that he was the last person Brady scored a touchdown on.

Jokes aside, the Rams’ 2022 schedule looks even more arduous because they are set to face off against the Buccaneers at some point in the year. While Los Angeles is undefeated against Tampa Bay and Brady so far, one can never feel comfortable going against arguably the greatest football player of all time.

While Brady’s return might spell some trouble for the Rams next year, the truth of the matter is the league is fortunate to have him back for another year. Whether someone loves or hates Brady, the NFL is a lot more intriguing with him lacing it up.
