The Los Angeles Rams had a long weekend following their thrilling 41-39 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3. Coaches and players usually use the extended vacation to rest up and heal from the short week.
Unfortunately, defensive end Ethan Westbrooks found himself in trouble with the law once again. According to Vinny Bonsignore of Orange County Register, Westbrooks was arrested on multiple felony gun charges over the weekend:

This is the second time in the past year that Westbrooks has been in trouble after an alleged domestic violence dispute that was later dropped in court. This time, he was initially pulled over in Bakersfield for speeding before officers reportedly found a stolen gun in his possession. The fourth-year veteran was booked on five felony charges before later posting bail.
The news comes after Westbrooks signed a one-year extension following the team’s Week 1 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. He even took a pay cut to remain with the team through next season.
While he has not been a significant contributor, Westbrooks has played well so far during the 2017 NFL season, recording 5.5 tackles and a sack. The season-ending injury to defensive end Dominique Easley in training camp has resulted in Westbrooks seeing an increased role.
