In what has been a difficult season for the Los Angeles Rams and head coach Jeff Fisher as they have fell short of many expectations on the field, things have gotten more difficult for Fisher recently as Rams Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson has made some accusations against Fisher.
According to Alden Gonzalez of ESPN, Dickerson is claiming that Fisher banned him from the sideline during games at the Coliseum because of some comments that Dickerson made.
While Dickerson said that Fisher took away that ban, Dickerson still says he will not attend a Rams game as long as Fisher is still coaching the team:
“I won’t be at the Coliseum as long as Fisher is coaching,” Dickerson reiterated Monday. “I’m a man of my word, and if I tell you something, I’m going to do it.”
Rams Executive VP of Football Operations and Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff, trying to be a peace maker, said that Dickerson is welcome at all games and that he has reached out to the former running back:
All Rams alumni, and especially @EricDickerson, are always welcome at our games and practices.

I have reached out to Eric to see where a miscommunication may have occurred & to clear up any confusion over his presence at games.

Most importantly I want to make sure he knows that he is a valued member of @RamsNFL family. We all share his love for our team & our fans

The reason for the ban was because Dickerson has recently criticized Fisher and the team as a whole for their poor record.
Fisher’s time with the Rams may have been numbered before this incident, as they currently sit at 4-7, losing six of their last seven games.
But the mistreatment of one of the franchise’s most beloved players may have been the final straw for Fisher.
