There were some people weren’t quite sure just how much Davante Adams had left in the tank when he signed with the Los Angeles Rams last offseason. But he would quiet a lot of doubters by forming the best wide receiver duo in the NFL alongside Puka Nacua and lead an elite Rams offense, finishing the season with 60 receptions for 789 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns in 14 games.

And with that performance Adams made a major leap back into the NFL’s annual Top 100 list, coming in at No. 53:

Adams is more than deserving of this spot even though his yardage numbers were the lowest they’ve been in a decade. That was due not only to his partnership with Nacua, who ate up the receptions and targets throughout most of the field, but also because of a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the final three games of the regular season.

The fact that Adams still led the league in receiving touchdowns despite only playing 14 games shows just how elite of a red zone target he was. Adams’ 49 routes ran inside the 10-yard line were the most of any receiver in the NFL and he made good on that, forming an outstanding connection with quarterback Matthew Stafford.

The 2026 season is set to be another great one for Adams and the Rams as he, Nacua and Stafford will look to continue to build and take things to another level offensively. With Kyren Williams still in the backfield and a host of tight ends, this Rams offense should once again be an elite unit.

And with the major additions made on the defensive side, particularly reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett and two-time All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie, this could finally be the year that Adams reaches his ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl and lifting the Lombardi Trophy.

Other Rams to make the NFL Top 100 list

Two other Rams have made the NFL Top 100 list so far with Williams coming in at No. 89 and pass rusher Byron Young slotting in at No. 84.

Adams certainly won’t be the last, however, as Stafford, Nacua and Garrett are all basically locks to be in the top 10 of the list. Additionally, McDuffie and defensive tackle Kobie Turner should also be on the list, proving just how talented of a roster the Rams possess.
