The Los Angeles Rams have undergone a lot of changes this offseason as they get set to undergo a new era at SoFi Stadium with a much different roster.

One thing that won’t change though is the presence of wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who is coming off the best season of his young career.

Kupp played in all 16 games for the first time in 2019, hauling in 94 receptions for 1,161 yards and 10 touchdowns, serving as Jared Goff’s safety blanket on offense.

While Kupp being a key part of the offense won’t change in 2020, something about him will be different. He took to social media to announce that he will be changing from No. 18 to 10, which was his college number:

Tavon Austin was wearing No. 10 when Kupp was drafted by the Rams, which is why he was forced to go with 18 for his first few seasons.

Kupp isn’t the only Rams receiver that will be switching numbers in 2020 as Josh Reynolds announced he will be going from No. 83 to 11. All four of the Rams’ top receivers will now be wearing numbers in the teens with Robert Woods occupying No. 17 and rookie Van Jefferson going with No. 12, which was worn by Brandin Cooks before he was traded to the Houston Texans.

The Rams are coming off a disappointing 9-7 season in which they missed the playoffs, so hopefully all of the changes this offseason will lead to more success in 2020.
