Rams News: Carson Wentz Says Aaron Donald Is ‘Game Changer’

With the 2017 NFL season winding down, the playoff picture is starting to finally come into focus. The Los Angeles Rams are currently first in the NFC West with a 9-3 record and look poised to make a serious postseason run.

Week 14 represents the Rams’ biggest challenge as they face off against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have established themselves as one of the best teams in the league due to their talent and ability in all three phases of the field.

According to Kristen Lago of Rams, Carson Wentz had high praise for Aaron Donald:

Yeah, he’s a game changer. Donald can really mess up some things offensively if you’re not aware of where he’s at. And you can kind of game plan a little bit for him, but at the same time we have a ton of confidence in the guys that we have upfront. We’ll limit what he can do and the way he can affect the game. But again, he’s a heck of a football player and you just have to be aware.”

Los Angeles has been impressive once again on defense thanks to Donald and his ability to single-handedly blow up an offense’s gameplan. Wentz and the Eagles have one of the most dynamic offenses in the league and will surely test the Rams’ ability to stop it.

Sean McVay has admitted that this game will be an exciting one between two rising franchises in the league and should be a close one throughout. A win over the Eagles should remove any doubt about the legitimacy of this Los Angeles squad.
