Essentially the whole world is currently in need of support due to the coronavirus pandemic that is forcing businesses and sports to shut down for the time being.
The Los Angeles Rams have been one of the organizations at the forefront of helping their local community in recent years, and that has continued during this time.
First, quarterback Jared Goff and left tackle Andrew Whitworth combined to finance two million meals for people in need through the L.A. Regional Food Bank.
The organization itself then followed in their lead as they partnered with KABC to host Te’LA’thon to support the local community during the coronavirus outbreak.
It doesn’t stop there though as according to Lindsey Thiry of ESPN, wide receiver Brandin Cooks now has donated $50,000 to help children in need in his hometown of Stockton, Calif.:
Rams WR Brandin Cooks has donated $50,000 to his hometown of Stockton, CA, to establish the Stockton Children's Fund. The money will help serve local kids who have been impacted by the effects of the coronavirus – helping to fund food and childcare, among other needs.

Cooks’ name has been involved in trade rumors all offseason, but it is good to see that hasn’t stopped him from helping out people in a time of need.
The 26-year-old is coming off a tough 2019 season in which he dealt with some concussions that limited his play on the field. He still has four years left on his contract though, so barring a trade, he should have a chance to redeem himself in 2020.
In the meantime though, it is important for everyone in the community to stick together to help get through these rough times. The Rams organization has been leading the way in that respect, and that will likely continue until the coronavirus is past us.
