Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Braden Fiske was named the NFL Rookie of the Month for his performance in November, the league announced.
During four games in November, Fiske led the team with five sacks to go along with four tackles for loss, a forced fumble, five quarterback hits and 11 total tackles.
According to Pro Football Focus, Fiske had the fourth-most pressures among rookies during November with 13, which was also the most for an interior defensive lineman.
Overall in the 2024 season, Fiske has collected 35 tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, eight tackles for loss and six quarterback hits.
Fiske is the seventh Rams rookie to receive Rookie of the Month honors and just the third defensive player. He joins teammate Jared Verse, who previously won the award for the month of September.
Verse and Fiske have been everything the Rams were hoping for when they drafted the former Florida State teammates in the first and second round, respectively, earlier this season. Verse and Fiske had great chemistry with the Seminoles and that has translated perfectly to the Rams and NFL.
With those two as well as Kobie Turner and Byron Young, the Rams have one of the most talented young defensive lines in the NFL that they can build around for years to come.
While Verse in the leader in the clubhouse for the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award, Fiske is right on his tail and is still very much in the mix if he has a strong close to the season.

The Rams recently added another young, talented defensive player to the organization by claiming former first round pick Emmanuel Forbes Jr. off waivers. While Forbes did not work out with the Washington Commanders, Sean McVay expressed his excitement to see what he can do in L.A.
“[He’s a] player that we liked as part of the evaluation process coming out a couple of years ago out of Mississippi State,” McVay answered when asked why the Rams claimed Forbes off waivers.
“He had a lot of ball production and had some good tape out there, even when we played them last year. He showed versatility, showed competitive toughness on the edge, and good ball skills. A guy that I don’t know too much about personally, but Kam Curl was excited to be able to reunite with him.
“We’ll get him in here and get him acclimated to the building, but he was a guy that we liked and had a familiarity with just based on the evaluation coming out of Mississippi State and then I thought there was some good tape that he’s put out there when we’ve gone against him, particularly later in the year last year.”
