Rams News: 2016 NFL Schedule Released

The NFL recently came out with the 2016 schedule, with the season beginning with a Super Bowl rematch Thursday Sept. 8 as the Denver Broncos will host the Carolina Panthers.

For the Los Angeles Rams, the 2016 season is a historic one as it is their first season back in Los Angeles.

With their new stadium still being built, the Rams home games will be played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in 2016, although Los Angeles opens its season in Santa Clara against the division rival San Francisco 49ers. Football will then return to Los Angeles in Week 2, as they host the Seattle Seahawks.

Los Angeles’ Week 7 game against the New York Giants will be played in London, England, so only seven of their home games will be played at the Coliseum.

The Rams will play the entire AFC East in 2016, as they host the Buffalo Bills in Week 5, travel to New York to take on the Jets in Week 10, host the Miami Dolphins in Week 11 and travel to the New England Patriots in Week 13.
