The Los Angeles Rams took care of business against a shorthanded Baltimore Ravens team, although they did so without some key players of their own like Puka Nacua.
The Rams receiver began the season on a record-breaking pace and needed just seven catches against the Ravens to set the record for most receptions through six weeks.
Unfortunately though, he sprained his ankle in the second quarter going up for a catch in the end zone. Nacua immediately fell to the ground in pain and was helped back to the locker room.
At the start of the second half, Nacua was seen stretching out his leg on the side lines and eventually returned to the game. He did not have a catch the rest of the way though, finishing with two receptions for 28 yards and clearly not looking like his usual self.
Nacua being able to check back in a was a good sign regardless and on Monday, head coach Sean McVay confirmed that the star is day-to-day moving forward, via Stu Jackson of TheRams.com:
Sean McVay said WR Puka Nacua has an ankle sprain and is day-to-day, but Nacua's status for Week 7 vs. Jaguars is up in the air.
McVay said he was encouraged by the scan and indicated it won't be long-term injury, but going to monitor him throughout the week.

The Rams will head over to London to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7. They then have their bye in Week 8, so if Nacua sits out then he would have two full weeks to heal while only missing one game.
Considering the NFC West standings are super tight with the Rams tied for first at 4-2, every game is going to count down the stretch. With that in mind, it would make sense for L.A. to rest Nacua against the Jaguars so he can get back to 100% health and avoid this injury lingering.
If he is unable to go then Davante Adams, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington and Konata Mumpfield would need to step up in his absence.
Puka Nacua on same page as Matthew Stafford to begin season
Puka Nacua is off to a historic start to the 2025 season and he recently discussed being on the same page as Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.
“It feels super fun when you go out there and you’re moving the ball forward and you’re feeling like everything’s on the right page,” Nacua said. “And I just think it feels good to be on the same page as Matthew.”
